Easter on the Canal

Today we celebrated "family" in our small home! We fed 6 grandchildren, their parents, their grandparents, and one great grandpa. How blessed we are to have such a wonderful big family!

While we were eating, another visitor came by, and afterward, little ones were helped by bigger ones to gather eggs left by Mr. E. Bunny, himself!

Easter celebrations have evolved since I was little. I remember Easter morning.... Dressed up in white knee socks, white gloves, a pretty dress, a hat, Easter morning was always spent in Church...with family.

I am so grateful that my dad is able to share a meal with us this Easter. I love him with all of my heart. He is my hero.

And so I leave you with pictures of the whole gang.... Happy Easter everyone!

  3. Family Day...a good thing to celebrate everyday. The three little guys lined up on the chesterfield are priceless.
I'm sure your Dad enjoyed this every bit as much as you did.
    Happy Easter to everybody there.

  5. Hi there Wendy!... Happyt (belated) Easter yo "You" and your fine family!

Obviously... Wendy... we share much more than an appreciation and passion for art! Family... parents... children... and family values... celebrated all the year round create the richest blessings that Life can offer!

Seeing your Dad... and his hands remind "Me" so much of the hands and souls that created the blessings in my own life!

W are both deeply blesssed! ... Happy Easter to ALL!

    Warmest regards,
    Bruce

    1. Hi Bruce! Thank you for visiting and for your very kind comments! We are, indeed, blessed. Dad HAS influenced, inspired, and filled my life with many blessings. My mom was very artist, creating many beautiful and original rug hookings. I am glad I have my dad, still... I miss my mom so much.

I am very glad that I have others who inspire, and enrich my life. Count yourself as one!
